Attention Filmmakers!

ZOOOM Film Festival is on the search for energetic and passionate artists who are raring to share their stories through the medium of video.  ZOOOM is an annual event proudly sponsored by the Okotoks Art Council.

For our fourth year we’re accepting films of any genre from teams of filmmakers whom have their team leader being aged 11-18 and residing in Okotoks and the Foothills.  Films should 3-10 minutes in length. Registrations open April 1st/2017 and final submissions will be due on August 31st/2018.

Films of all genres are welcomed to enter. This includes narrative based projects (story driven) and documentary work, live-action, animation (clay, 2D, 3D etc.) are all acceptable entry formats.

Projects will be judged on individual story, creativity, unique style, passion and emotional impact.

There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and the grand prize winner also gains a prime spot on the screening list of the Okotoks Film Festival.
